The project will transform an underutilised soup kitchen cabin into a flexible, multi-use facility, creating a welcoming space for the community.
Works include a full strip out of the existing interior, installation of a new raised subfloor, hygienic wall and floor finishes, and a purpose-built tea point with integrated storage. The project also incorporates new lighting, electrical and plumbing installations, alongside bespoke joinery, acoustic treatments and feature elements to create a calm environment.
The facility plays a vital role in supporting the local community, currently serving up to 200 guests daily, and this refurbishment will significantly enhance its usability, efficiency and capacity.
