Ash Capital have successfully completed the structural renewal and refurbishment of the entrance steps at Wilbraham Mansions, near Sloane Square. The project focused on strengthening the entrance structure and enhancing the visual finish of this residential block’s main access point.
Works began with the strip-out of the existing stair finishes and the installation of a temporary frame and steps to maintain resident access throughout the programme. Structural steel beams beneath the entrance were replaced to reinforce and future-proof the area before the reinstatement of the steps.
New granite finishes were installed to the entrance steps, along with new anti-slip nosings to improve both safety and durability. Final works included redecoration to the railings and door frame, restoring the entrance to a clean, high-standard finish in keeping with the building’s character.
Through careful planning and phased works, safe access was maintained at all times while ensuring high-quality, precise execution. The project has now been completed, providing a structurally sound, visually enhanced, and long-lasting entrance for Wilbraham Mansions residents.
